Soren DeTienne constructed the River's Bend Lodge from the ground up from 2001 to 2009 with the help of family and friends. The Montana bed and breakfast was first purchased as a vacation home, but before long Soren had become captivated with the area and fell in love with the way of life on the river. Intending to build a dream home for entertaining his family and friends, Soren has put his passions and personal touches into every detail. In memory of Soren's family farm in Plentywood, MT, he built the fireplace with local lichen rock. This complements the timber, log and other wood features used throughout the property, which represent the typical quality craftsmanship of Montana lodges. The Great Room Bar is from the original Montana Club and was used there during the late 1800's.The Montana Club's membership required members be millionaires, and most of the membership were miners or mine owners from the Gold rich areas around Helena, MT.

Our lodge is a short walk to Tower Rock State Park; a campsite of the Lewis & Clark. We are a walking distances to Prewett Creek Fishing access.
