The house features several OUTDOOR entertainment areas: a large BBQ patio with a table and chairs, a sunbathing deck with a HOT TUB, and a FIRE PIT, all of these overlooking the lake. I am a scientist doing biomedical research in New York City. As a biologist, I have a great appreciation for nature and am very fortunate to have a house in the heart of the New Jersey Highlands preservation area. This area holds beautiful mountains, lakes, water reservoirs, parks, and amazing hiking trails with stunning views and it is home to vast and diverse wildlife. West Milford, Warwick, and Tuxedo Park are surrounded by forests, lakes, and water reservoirs. The area features several hiking trails, state parks, and gorgeous views of the North Jersey Highlands. The house is located on an island in the lake where guests can enjoy walks or biking with wonderful views. There is a short drive to Mount Peter ski resort and to Mountain Creek - a water park and ski resort offering both summer and winter activities including ski & board, snow tubing and more. The World Headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses is a short drive from the house. There are fine restaurants in the beautiful town of Warwick, NY -a 15 min drive from the house. A fancy and fully renovated ShopRite supermarket is located in West Milford downtown and two other supermarkets are just a 12 min drive. I provide with all cooking essentials in the house.
