Most don't realize that Kitty Hawk is home to 1,824 acres of Maritime Forest full of beautiful hiking trails where you can explore the Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Reserve. You can hike and bike or if watersports are your fancy, there are several kayak or paddleboard launch areas to explore the forest by water. Hunters are also welcome during hunting season, so be sure to wear bright colors while on the trails. If you're looking for great food, we highly recommend checking out Bad Bean Baja Grill and The Black Pelican. The delicious food doesn't stop there, you can find Indian, Thai, Japanese, American, & wonderful breakfast spots all throughout the town.
