After years of experience in business, travel, and a successful wine bar on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle WA, Chris and Gretchen chose to continue their passion for hospitality and wine among a rich outdoor community. They envisioned a small place tucked near a river, where travelers and locals merge… where ideas, friendships, and connections are made amidst conversations, a dynamic glass of wine, and maybe a vinyl album or two. This is such a place.

The RubyJune Inn is a cozy Inn & Wine Bar nestled in the Columbia River Gorge. Set directly across from the White Salmon River, we are a warm and welcoming Inn for travelers, adventure lovers & locals to unplug and share in community. Whether you’re starting off your day with a cup of French press coffee in the courtyard, or slowing down with a glass of wine by the campfire after a day of adventuring, we invite you to share home with us.

The RubyJune Inn is located just 15 minutes from downtown Hood River OR. Our location is directly between Mt Hood and Mt Adams with an outstanding list of outdoor options including river sports such as kite-sailing, wind-surfing, mountain biking, fly fishing and some of the best white-water rafting in the United States. In addition, the Columbia River Gorge offers some outstanding wine-tasting suported by this very unique ecosystem.
