Aloha from Mika and Tammi. We live on the property upstairs in the main Guest Lodge. We are so happy that you are considering Peace of Maui. We are looking forward in meeting you. We are a small intiment business. Not a normal hotel feel. Our clients tell us that we are a "homey" place to stay. When you 1st come in you will see white lights on our fence to help you find us in the dark along with our sign. We have self check in and your name is written on a LED board with your room number. We offer a light to-go breakfast of granola bars, oatmeal, fruit cups,along with coffee,tea and hot-coco. You will find this on the counter ready for you when you want. We realize you want to get up and go out the door as early as possible to enjoy our beautiful island. Mika is always ready to give music lessons to those who want to learn the ukulele and Hawaiian music. We can also teach you how to make a ti leaf lei and how to weave a basket using palm leaves. Come and enjoy our private outdoor shower and relaxing hot tub. We have BBQ area and a fire pit to sit out under the stars in our gazebo. We want you to experience Maui in a new way ... away from the crowded hotels. Come join us!

Hali'imaile is in Makawao town. Which is very centrally located. We are minutes away from the north shore beaches as well as the historic towns of Kula,Pukalani,Haiku and Pa'ia. The area of Hali'imaile is small but offers a lot. We have a famous restaurant with Chef Bev. Gannon called "Hali'imaile General Store". Next door to that is Cross Fit, Maui Gold Pineapple tours and down hill biking tours. Just across the street is a distillery where they make Pau Vodka and they offer tours. Next door to that is an amazing shop where they make gorgeous hand blown glass items to sell and take home with you or you can have your items shipped. In front of them, outside, their is a coffee vendor truck with all kinds of goodies for you to enjoy under the large shade trees as you relax and take in all the things to see and do here in our island style neighborhood.
