Located in south central Kentucky, this cabin is a lake house overlooking a small private lake. It is approximately 1 mile from the other 2 properties. This cabin was completely renovated in 2015. It boasts a complete surround porch with 2 porch swings. It has 1 loft bedroom, one bathroom, and a queen sleeper sofa. You’ll find all the modern conveniences we’ve come to expect along with TV and the Internet. Guests are often surprised to find it so delightfully tucked away in such a nice, private location. The lake itself is very pretty with yellow water lilies hovering all around the edges. I think it looks just like that scene in the movie “The Notebook” when Allie and Noah are in the little wooden canoe and get caught in a rainstorm and race back to his house. We even have the little canoe to complete the scene. The old rustic bridge you cross just before getting to the cabin add loads of charm to a beautiful setting….and is a very popular spot for photos.
We are located just 5 minutes from The Barn at Cedar Grove (a wedding venue). We are halfway between the 2 historic towns of Columbia and Greensburg in south central Kentucky. We are just 20 minutes from Green River Lake and 25 minutes from Lake Cumberland.
