公司信息
In 1966, I bought my first motel. In 1976, I became a real estate broker specialing in selling hotels, motels and Inns in Central California. Since then I have owned and operated 17 Inns (15 in the Monterey Peninsula) and sold more than 250. My friends ask "Julian. You have plenty of money. Why not enjoy life and retire." I tell them I am enjoying life as never before by being here at our Inn, surrounded by the love and appreciation of our staff and our guests. I am 71 now. The Carmel Garden Inn is not only the best Inn I have ever owned, but the staff is the best I have ever been privileged with whom to work. Most of all, our guests are the finest I have ever known. I have often said the more one gives, the more one gets. Susan, Mary, Betty, Dennis, Curtis and I give every day... and get every day. What a wonderful way to live.

When we bought our Inn in March 2013, we made several important decisions. 1. Keep all ten wood burning fireplaces in our ten rooms. 2. Purchase the finest beds, bedding/linens available. 3. Install an on site laundry to insure the best quality preservation of the bedding/linens. 4. Create really special gardens/sitting areas. 5. Fill the gardens with hundreds of special plants, each labeled with its own name plate. 5. Make all food prepared in our kitchen from scratch using special recipes and carefully selected ingredients. 6.Create a bistro dining area for our breakfasts and have a daily wine party...not just ok wine, cheese...fine wine from the Sonoma Valley, good cheese, home made garlic beet hummus, smoked salmon spread, galic bean dip, home made lemon bars and short bread cookies with rosemary from our garden. 7. Hire mature staff, well versed in travel with excellent cookings skills, world traveled, high quality individuals who understand and appreciate making staying at our Inn an "experiecnce" for our guests, not just a place to stay and sleep. Our reviews reflect the success of our efforts. We welcome you to join us in the fun and joy of being in Carmel.
