Located 12km from Entebbe and 16km from Kampala, Avocado Bay Private Retreat is a Lakeside private retreat with both indoor accommodation and camping provisions. Surrounded by Lake Victoria on two sides, it has an extensive lawns and woodlands. Our friendly staff provide a relaxing ambience. A buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Our African themed comfortable rooms have private bathrooms, satellite TV, and four-poster beds. Complimentary fast WiFi, tea/coffee tray and tropical fruit basket are provided. Our serviced cottage (which can be self-catering) lies on rocks right upon the lake and is surrounded by the lake, accessible through a mini bridge. The sprawling 10-acre property with forest and lake naturally attracts plenty of wildlife butterflies, monkeys, dozens of bird species, squirrels and monitor lizards can occasionally be sighted along the shores. For a small fee, our guests can treat themselves to rod fishing by the lake rocks, enjoy boat rides, outdoor fire chats at night, nature walks or make use of the watchtower to see surrounding islands, Kampala city, Munyonyo, Garuga, and Bwerenga peninsulas.
