Camp Bastian is set in unique, quiet and natural settings just outside Mikumi National Park. We are striving to make our guest to feel at home by creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in our camp. During you stay at Camp Bastian, you will meet our well trained and service minded staff. The team is always at your service and your special needs are at our greatest concern. We have employed more than 20 local permanent staff not to mention casual laborers. This is our way of injecting money back into the community and improving the welfare of its people.

While staying with us, you have plenty of oportunities to explore the many beautifull sites of the Southern Circuit in Tanzania. You can do the classic safari tours in the different national parks. One-day safari in Mikumi National Park or longer safaris to Ruaha National Park or Selous Game Reserve. If you prefer hiking, Udzungwa National Park is an ideal option for both one-day trip or longer hikes. You also have several options of cultural tours, including biking excursion with a local guide.
