Hualien Wow Youth Hostel is a 20-minute drive from Chihsingtan Beach, a 30-minute drive from Liyu Lake and a 40-minute drive from Taroko National Park. Hualien Airport is merely a 10-minute drive away. The hostel has private guest rooms, mixed dormitories and female dormitories. All units come with a flat-screen TV and an attached bathroom. For private rooms, slippers and toiletries are offered. Staff at reception can help guests book various activities, such as snorkelling, rafting, diving and cycling. The hostel also provides recommendations on bike rentals and car hire around the area. A variety of local dining options can be found at Dongdamen Night Market which is a 10-minute car journey away.
