Villa Rhapsody lies in the middle of Kaya Valley, surrounded by fields and mountains. The hotel is built 30 years ago by the owner in his younger years! The hotel is run by Atilla, who was born and raised in Istanbul and his Dutch wife Jeanne. Atilla is educated at the Steinberger Hotelfachschule in Bad Reichenhall, Germany and Jeanne is educated as a graphic designer but she does the cooking at Villa Rhapsody.
Kayaköy is situated on the Fethiye peninsula, valley was once home for a Greek community in a town called Levissi. This town is now deserted on the hills of Kayaköy and inspired Louis the Bernieres for his book "Birds without wings".
