The country's greatest master craftsmen have left their mark on the plaster sculptures of the ceilings and vaults, the marble or noble stone ornaments, and the frescoes painted on the woodwork. Everything in this home is authentic; most of the pieces and ornaments are more than a century old, or even unique.

I am Karim, your host. For more than 10 years, I have devoted all my time to restoring our family heritage. I had to draw on my deepest memories to create a setting that is both authentic and comfortable. My father (who was an architect) always told me that to succeed in an architectural work, you must create harmony between shapes and colors. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us to confirm whether I have successfully met this challenge. I am counting on you, my dear guests, to share your impressions with me.
