Property information

Set on stilts, BaanBooLoo offers traditional Thai-style rooms in scenic Chiang Mai Old Town. Featuring a well-equipped common kitchen, it provides free WiFi and free parking. Our Village is just a 5-minute walk from the Sunday Walking Street and the well-known Wat Phra Singha Temple. It is only a 10-minute drive from Chiang Mai International Airport. Fitted with teak furnishings and woven Thai fabrics, individually designed rooms come with a seating area and en suite bathroom. They are fitted with air-conditioning or fans. EAT PRAY LOVE with Thai family? After going on a day trip arranged by our family, we recommended relaxing at home with soothing massages or enjoy quiet afternoons in the library or garden's hammock. Alternatively, take up a Thai cooking class at the common kitchen. A lot of safe space for a family with young kids to wander around while parents are just hanging on a hammock with a cold beer in their hand or Yoga, meditation. BaanBooLoo also boasts communal cooking and refrigeration facilities. Guests can enjoy light snacks, Varieties of local herbal tea and non-alcoholic beverages free of charge.

Neighbourhood information

Our guesthouse is like a living museum in a quiet old residential area of Chiang Mai. We are very close to Wat Pra Singh a highly prized Buddhist temple and monastery. Our street is a cul-de-sac so it has very little traffic and no through traffic. It is safe, green and peaceful and like a green oasis in the historic city full of trees and beauty. There are some small local Thai shops all owned by neighbours. We all know each other and neighbours are quiet and respect each other so we can live in a peaceful environment although we are in a big city.
