Artist Trade d.o.o. is a family-owned company that was established back in the year 1992 starting as a gallery and small boutique shop which was later closed while the business was reorganized to tourism and consulting services. In 2011 the idea of the family ran accommodation facilities came spontaneously after some rooms of a big family house became empty. The name Green Point was chosen as the house is located on the forest border and presents chill and peaceful place in the shadow of green trees. Currently, the company manages one guest house with one suite and one double room, offers travel planning and organization, and business consulting.

The idea of a guest house was based on a wish to share the beauties of nature and an extraordinary position of Podpeč village with tourists, motorcyclists, cyclists, researchers, artists, travellers, families, and anyone else who loves nature and its beauties. While our guest house is located close to the city and is a perfect starting point to visit any part of Slovenia, it is also positioned right on the forest border, in a calm and quiet environment. This makes it a perfect place to relax and fill up the energy you need for your further travel. We are proud that in 2017 our small yet cozy guest house idea came to life.

Our guest house is on the doorstep of the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. This is also the area of Ljubljana Moors, a unique wetland and protected regional park. Ljubljana Moors has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2011 for its prehistoric pile-dwellings and archeological sites. Worldwide there are only a few places with so rich combinations of history, archeology, karst landscape, forest and wetland, 'disappearing' river of the Seven names, flora and fauna. Just one look through the window of your room offers you all this, spiced with an astonishing view over the Slovenian mountains in the background. Quite picturesque isn't it? With us you will have a quiet and peaceful area to rest; on chilly nights you will have a chance to observe the limitless night sky and during the day you will have variegated opportunities for recreation. You can choose from hiking, cycling, boating, fishing, kayaking, horseriding, and swimming. We are only 20 minutes bus ride, 40 minutes cycling or 3 hours boat ride away from Ljubljana. You will have a perfect starting point to visit all 'pearl' of Slovenia, from Bled, Postojna Cave, to Soča Valley and Pannonian basin.
