A young couple left city life to start a small hotel in the mountain paradise of Jezersko, not far from a glacier lake and under some of the nicest mountains in the region. Here are endless possibilities during the summer and winter! Hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, sup-ing, swimming, and many more! Endless pine and larch trees create a perfect atmosphere with fresh, healthy air, combined with a natural spring of mineral water this truly is a mountain paradise for everyone! We have 10 bedrooms: 2 suites with balcony, 4 classical double bedrooms, and 4 double bedrooms with shared toilets and shared showers, a saloon with a cozy fireplace, a nice yard, and no problem with pets. The house just underwent a major renovation so all the functioning rooms are completely new and renovated offering the perfect combination of the original concept from 1936 (when the building was built) along with today's commodities. Behind the building is a large yard with a fireplace where guests can prepare and enjoy their own barbecue, socialize, and relax in the quiet of the alpine nature. Recently we've decided to widen up our Villa's offer of services. We have built a sauna that our guests may use every day between 17.00 and 22.00. There is a surcharge for sauna. Please note: Check-in is possible from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00. Arrival after 20:45 will be charged additionally as "late arrival". Once your reservation is confirmed, it would be helpful if you could share your estimated arrival time :)

My name is Alen. I`m a native Slovenian from the outskirts of our lovely capital of Ljubljana, ever divided between nature and outgoing social life. I`m a husband to my lovely wife Petra and it is with her that we decided to move to this fairytale land of Jezersko and share its beauties with our guests/friends. We are parents to three gorgeous children. Since we both love good travel destinations and among these, we cannot go past excellent accommodations, we kept our eyes wide open while traveling, therefore gaining a lot of experience in running such facility. Now, we dare to start one of our one, hoping to offer the best for YOU travelers coming to our beautiful region of Jezersko. As a self-employed minion, I used to earn money from different occupations. The main ones being a fitness and conditioning coach and a Kia cars salesman. I also brew beer and craft picture frames. But my soul dwells among words. Letters. Books. Literature of many kinds. Therefore in my little spare time, I`m creating rollercoaster of poetry, novels and short stories.

Jezersko is an old mountain village located in the Carinthian region of Slovenija just next to the Austrian border. It is known for its therapeutic fresh air, glacier lake, magical winters, and fresh summers. Besides some of the oldest churches in the region, there are also many natural sightseeings, fresh mineral water springs, and local sheep farms. The town has a grocery store, a gas station, a restaurant, a pharmacy, a fire brigade, and a working bus line with a connection to the big city of Kranj in the Gorenjska region (30 minutes by car).
