Riverview Lodge is a beautifully renovated, spacious, 3 bedroom holiday home sleeping 5 in a charming traditional Bohinj style chalet, located in a fantastic position in walking distance to Lake Bohinj in the sought after village of Ribcev Laz (1km / 12 mins walk to the lake) and a huge range of activities at the lake from kayaking to skiing at Vogel (5 mins drive) and restaurants, bars and other amenities just a short stroll away. Situated in a semi detached house at the quieter end of the village, it has one double, one twin and one single bedroom (two of which have balconies) and two bathrooms, with beautifully furnished living space on the ground floor and a well equipped kitchen - dining room. Surrounded by stunning alpine landscapes and mountain views in most directions, Riverview Lodge also offers a spacious deck area overlooking the wonderful Sava Bohinjka river - perfect for lazy Summer afternoons or al fresco dinners, whilst listening to the sound of the river flowing gently past.

Riverview Lodge is located in the charming village of Ribcev Laz, the entrance to Lake Bohinj, just 1 km away from the lake (12 mins by foot / 2 mins by car) and in a short walk from various restraurants , bars and other amenities including tourist office and supermarket. Situated on the edge of the village and set back from the main road , the house is removed from the hustle and bustle of the main part of the village. Riverview Lodge is blessed with mountain and forest views in most directions and overlooks the wonderful Sava Bohinjka River which can be enjoyed from the deck area. In summer there is the opportunity for kayaking, sailing and rowing, as well as fly-fishing, swimming or just relaxing on the lake shore all within very easy reach of the house. Following the route towards the end of the lake there is the beautiful village of Ukanc, the start for hikers who want to visit the Savica Waterfall and the Triglav Seven Lakes. They also offer scope for great mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding as well as skiing. 25 minutes drive away from the house is world-famous Lake Bled. The ski resort Vogel above Lake Bohinj is one of Slovenia’s best with good lift infrastructure and snow record. It is just 5–10 minutes drive from the house to the Vogel cable car, which is also open in the Summer, giving easy access to high altitude walking and mountain biking. A 5 min drive from the house is the town of Bohinjska Bistrica which offers a modern water park with ample pool and spa facilities as well as a range of useful amenities including shops, bars, restaurants & bank.
