The house will enchant you with its homeliness, furniture adorned with hunting motifs, pictures depicting nature and animals, and its special feature, the owner's trophy of a brown bear. From the very beginning, we have enjoyed spoiling our guests with new and imaginative seasonal delights prepared from ingredients sourced from our surroundings (porcini mushrooms, blueberries, wild garlic, etc.). We pay special attention to traditional Slovenian food with a touch of modernity. The name for our house was offered by nature itself – Zaplata – an oasis of forest, nestled amidst meadows and pastures on the slope of Grintovec. You'll be able to observe it from our summer garden. Its unusual distinctiveness still captivates people's imagination. There's even a folktale about the origin of this forest in the middle of a mountain pasture, which you can inquire about when you visit us.
