The house owes its name to the small bird fieldfare - Brinovka, immortalized in the poems of the greatest poet of the Karst, Srečko Kosovel. By choosing the name, the owners want to pay tribute to this great son of the country. Brinovka with its Venetian balcony and loggia is a little different from the typical houses of the Karst region. With much love and appreciation for its history, it was completely renovated in 2020.

Brinovka is a stone house in the village Temnica. It is a quiet and charming little village in the Karst region, situated on the very western edge of the Karst plateau and close to the Italian border. Here three wine regions meet – Brda, Vipava valley and Karst – surrounded by the most beautiful nature with a hidden and mysterious world of Karst caves underneath. The house with a typical Karst-inspired garden and a luxurious swimming pool with breathtaking views will enchant you in every season. The house Brinovka can accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 separate rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 connecting room. The interior design offers a harmonious blend of old and new, both of which make for a pleasant, stylish and relaxing stay. The ground floor lounge offers space for the preparation of culinary delights, which can be served at a large dining table for 10 guests. Romantic moments by the fireplace or a movie night on the big screen complete the pleasure. The modern and fully equipped kitchen also offers an adjacent utility room with a washing machine and dryer. A separate guest toilet is also located on the ground floor.
