Our journey began with a dream to create a sanctuary where our family could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the embrace of nature. With meticulous attention to detail, respect for cultural heritage, and a genuine love for our roots, we have transformed this space into a corner that we now proudly share with our guests who seek to spend their time in the pristine nature by the Kolpa River.

In Kuželj village by Kolpa river, discover a charming wooden holiday home exuding warmth, tradition, and the scent of wood. The house's name "Bale Bale" in the Kostel dialect translates to "Come, come", thus it beckons you to enjoy nature's gifts and comfort, offering respite for your eyes and soul. With 85m2 of space, it combines traditional and modern architecture, reflecting local heritage. Rent the spacious entire house with 3 rooms—bedroom, children's room, living room—totaling 7 beds (5 singles, 1 double). Furry friends are welcome to wag their tails indoors and out. Amenities include a garden, terrace, private parking, A/C, and sauna chair. Nestled beneath a decades-old yew, the shingle-covered wooden house invites play and river sounds. Enjoy summer swimming, kayaking, and SUP rides on Kolpa river. It's a hub for cycling, hiking, and exploring footpaths. Our expansive grassy spaces are perfect for sports like football, basketball, badminton, and yoga, with equipment provided in-house—goal posts, baskets, yoga mats, kayaks, SUPs, and bikes.

Kostel is an ideal destination for day trips, offering a genuine experience amidst incredible natural beauty. Just an hour and a half drive from Ljubljana, passing Ribnica and Kočevje or the Kočevje river, it's a convenient getaway. Everything you need for a weekend or week-long break is close to our house. Kuželjska stena hill, rising majestically over Kuželj village, offers panoramic views even envied by taller mountains. Discover the Nežica waterfall from the main road, en route from Kočevje to the Petrina border crossing. On the path between Petrina and Osilnica, before reaching Mirtoviči village, explore the Mirtoviči stream nature reserve. Park at the resting area and follow a well-marked path on foot to reach the spring in just over an hour. Our house boasts a plantation of indigenous plants and trees, a haven for deer and does. They're welcomed guests, visible from the safe central area with abundant glazed surfaces and a magnificent window niche.
