This waterfront property is in Lysekil, where the Gullmarn fjord meets the Skagerrak sea. It offers functional rooms with private bathrooms and a communal kitchen. WiFi is free throughout the building. Strand is housed in a refurbished late 19th-century villa. Guest rooms are individually decorated in a traditional Swedish style, and each has a TV. Guests can enjoy bistro dining at the restaurant located in the main building. Barbecue facilities are also available. Guests can rent bicycles on site and explore the surroundings at their own convenience. Strand’s staff can help guests book activities such as diving and fishing excursions and guided day trips. The Södra Hamnen Ferry Terminal and Bus Station is just a 7-minute walk away from the property.

The Story of "Strandflickorna"….. The two friends Åsa and Bettina met through dancing. They opened their first hostel in the summer of 1990 "as a fun summer job". Over 30 years later, they continue to operate together, nowadays they run a both a hotel, bed & breakfast and a restaurant. And they still think it's just as fun!
