Holiday Home Småland Paradiset

My name is Elisabeth Augustsson and Paradiset is my parents home! I took over the house after my father and love it very much! I feel relaxation, the silence and nature full of life with birds and fish, especially with my family and friends! Me and our family live on the countryside of Småland and we hunt, fish and work in our own forest. That said, we want you to have the opportunity to enjoy that place and discover new environments, get away from everyday life and do something different! The house "Paradiset" is located in southern Småland, precisely next to the river Mörrumsån. It is a very beautiful view and the surroundings are quiet and private. You have your own boat, jetty and beach that you can fish and bath from! In Mörrumsån you can fish several fishes like pike, pikeperch, perch or why not a salmon, which has just been given the opportunity to walk up the canal via a newly built salmon ladder in Fridafors! Paradiset were built in the 1940s and it is located in the small community of Fridafors. As Mörrumsån flows through the area, a paper mill was built here in 1892 and the town of Fridafors was created. The mill flourished in the mid-50s but has since been phased out, as has society. During the days and evenings you can sit by the house or down by the river, grill and enjoy nature with family and friends!

Places with more offerings of shops, bathhouses, activities and authorities are close by! The nearest town is Ryd (7 km) which has grocery shop, paint shop, pizzeria etc. Other larger towns are Olofström (22 km), Karlshamn (30 km), Tingsryd (30 km) which has everything you need! Shop for food, clothes, indoor swimming pool, bowling and much more. A popular tourist destination is Ebbamåla Mill (7km), which is perhaps Europe's best-preserved industrial museum with a workshop, smithy and a charming café! If you are hungry for outdoor life, you should go to Halens Nature Reserve and Leisure Area (20km). Or why not Tingsryd municipality's most visited tourist destination: Bilkyrkogården Kyrkö Mosse (10km) outside Ryd with old, rusty cars growing in the nature! Are you interested in fishing? Go to the lake Åsnen (15km) and many other lakes nearby! Additionally, you can also visit famous places like Kosta Boda (65km) and Eriksberg Vilt & Natur (40km). At Kosta Boda you can buy and look when they make art of glass in the old ways. Eriksberg offer a safari park with swedish wild animals to look at! If you like to fish you have great oppertunities to do so. Buy fishingcard and have access to the great water of "Hönshyltefjorden" plus over 60 lakes in the area. You buy fishingcard on the website Ifiske. You can also rent boats from the local fishery management board (Almundsryds östra FVOF)
