Allsta Gård Kretsloppshuset B&B

We moved to Allsta Gård in December 2024. Prior to that we spent more than a year of searching around Sweden for a small farm where we could integrate our life and work. When we finally stumbled across Allsta Gård, we found everything we were looking for and more. Alex is Swedish-American and has lived in the US, UK, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. As a coach and therapist he is dedicated to helping people unfold more of who they are. He is the co-founder of Yellow and the author of the book On Relationality. Jana is originally from Germany. At Allsta Gård the threads of her life’s adventures come together: cooking in a food truck, working on farms, studying art, working as a teacher, training in yoga and Thai Yoga Massage, experimenting in ceramics, and searching for the good life.

Allsta Gård is a Bed & Breakfast, café, and event venue in Bjärtrå, Sweden. We hope that guests who stay at Allsta Gård feel nourished and inspired. Our intention with the farm is that it a place for regeneration in all of its forms. The “Kretsloppshus” is a so-called circular house. Ecological and local recycled materials were used for its construction, completed by the former owners in 2014. Electricity comes from solar panels, heating comes from wood pellets and solar thermal collectors, and the wastewater filter system returns nutrients to nature. The Kretsloppshus has four bedrooms available for accommodation (two double rooms and two single rooms). We also have a small “Bagarstuga” (Baker’s Cabin) that can host a small family in the summer months. Our breakfast consists of homemade bread and homegrown produce to the largest extent possible (And if not, the ingredients we use are local and/or organic.) In addition to our interest in regenerative agriculture, we also provide several opportunities for personal regeneration. We offer 1-on-1 yoga massage sessions, group yoga and meditation sessions, and coaching sessions on request.

Allsta Gård is located right on the edge of the High Coast, in Ådalen, where the river meets the sea. The High Coast Whiskey distillery is a10 minute drive away.
