Our Bed&Breakfast is strategically placed opposite the Vindelälven River right in the middle of Sorsele. From our Bed & Breakfast Inlandsbanan railroad station and the bus station are within walking distance. All our rooms are light and airy, with a contemporary feel they are newly renovated. Most of them look out over the Vindelälven River. We work together with different activity companies in the area we can arrange for our guests to take part in winter and summer FatBike excursions with either our local guide or with ourselves. We can also offer a bike and boat trip in the summer months.

Sorsele Fat Bike excursions now available with us at Holmen Bed & Breakfast. We currently have 6 brand new Fat Bikes. These bikes are the ultimate all year round experience, either you can rent the bikes from us here at the Bed & Breakfast or you can go on a guided tour on ice of the frozen Vindel River or explore the forests in the Sorsele area. You could be for example, be exploring the icy archipelago of Forsnäs - yes there's a archipelago here too- or by the frozen rapids of Bräskafors in the winter. If you want to do this in the summer, you could for example go around the heaths and beaches of Skibbikken.To discover in Sorsele and beyond The River King, the historical tour boat going to the sand beaches of Skibbikken and the Victoria Church, or just around the central village. The town church, the open air-museum of Sorsele are all with in walking distance of the Bed & Breakfast. A car drive away is the beautiful Gimegoults canyon nature reserve. The downhill skiing slopes (winter) and Hiking & Biking trails (summer) of Nalovardo is a mere 14 km away. The Inlandsbanan museum is within walking distance. The idyllic location by the river allows fishing as well as boat trips.
