Hamgården Tiveden Nature Resort offers a detached 2-persons Swedish ‘timmerstuga’ ( 50m² ) with hotel standard at the east side of lake Unden. An amazing place to enjoy nature and quietness, come to rest.The living room has large windows that provide wide views of the forest. From the pleasant lounge chairs you can enjoy this. Or choose to use internet via Wifi on your TV screen. The kitchenette is equipped with ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and capsule coffee machine. In the bathroom you will find a sparkling jungle shower, toilet and sink. The spacious beds ensure your peaceful nights in the quiet surroundings. Easy garden chairs can be found on the covered terrace facing south. During the evenings, you have a great chance to see the spectacular sunsets over the lake Unden. Lots of activities are just around the corner of these newly build holiday homes. There are also two hotel rooms available. These are without cooking facilities and cannot have animals in there. They have an own terrace and coffee/tea making facilities. Our restaurant is daily open from 1st of june till mid of september. The rest of the year the restaurant is only open on request.

Located between the two largest lakes, Vänern and Vättern, in central Sweden, three hours away from both Gothenburg and Stockholm, you find the beautiful Tiveden. The extensive forests, which grow on and between the magnificent Ice Age scenery, form the Tiveden area, which is bounded by deep and crystal clear lakes. A unique area where the icelayers, kilometers thick, has carried huge boulders over a long distance. While the glaciers under thousands of years melted, they left these enormous rocks, formed a unique area and gave the curves of these garnit massifs their typical slopes during their melting process. Other highlights in the area are several nature reserves, like Vargavidderna and Fagertärn. Lots of activities are possible; short and long hikingtrails, cycling tours, horseriding, canoeing, fishing, snowwalking, picking berries and mushrooms, meditation etc.
