This is a newly built 65sqm west wing to our house built 1880 in Central Vaxholm. It is a 2 bedroom seperate house, with fully equiped kitchen and bathroom and offers a terrace with BBQ. This property is located 200 meters from the Vaxholm harbour and all needed ameneties are reached by foot in a few minutes such as the grocery store, bus stop, boat stop, restaurants etc. The house is newly built but we have reused old details such as the wood fired stove doors etc. The floors are in massive wooden floor in old swedish style and the exterior is painted with the traditional red falu color. It is also decorated with old details such as a rocking chair. Next to the wing is the old outhouse from 1887 we also have another smaller cottage from 1911 on the property that you can rent. Our ambition is to make the archipelago accessible to our guests just as it is to us who live here. , We can help set you up with different activities/experiences such as boat rides, fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountainbiking, wood fired sauna on an island etc. Just let us know what you like and we can discuss options.

I (Jonas) is an experienced host that has been in the hospitality industry since 1988 and still love to meet new people from different culture. The property is on a great calm location in the very center of Vaxholm. The location is great to experience Vaxholm by foot and a car is not needed. Vaxholm is the gateway to the archipelago and you can easily go by boat either to Stockholm city or further out in the archipelago. I have many local tips that I can share with you such as with islands to go to or what boats to use, picnick spots etc.
