Welcome to Chalets d'Anse Forbans – Your Beachfront Escape in Seychelles
Chalets d'Anse Forbans is nestled on the south-east coast of Mahé, the main island of Seychelles, in the charming fishing village of Anse Forbans, part of the Takamaka district.
Our 14 self-contained, self-catering chalets are built right on the beach, offering you uninterrupted access to the golden sands and tranquil waters of Anse Forbans. Just a short stroll away is Anse Marie Louise beach – another hidden gem waiting to be explored.
Snorkelers will love the vibrant marine life found in the bay, and after a refreshing swim, you can rinse off using our convenient outdoor showers. Each chalet is equipped with sun loungers and beach towels so you can unwind in the comfort of your private garden space, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the waves and the melodic calls of tropical birds.
Our large, well-maintained gardens are home to a variety of indigenous plants and trees, which attract an array of birdlife. Feel free to pick some citronelle (lemongrass) leaves from the garden to make a cup of fragrant local tea.
Every chalet features a private patio with a sea view – perfect for sipping freshly brewed coffee from your in-room coffee machine while watching the sunrise. You’re also welcome to enjoy a peaceful breakfast at one of the many garden benches before setting off to explore the island.
Daphne, Jean-Pierre, Brigitte, and Lisa – a dedicated family team – are here to help make your stay in Seychelles truly unforgettable.
We’re deeply passionate about our island’s environment and culture. In fact, we helped establish the Anse Forbans Community Conservation Programme – a local initiative focused on preserving our beautiful coastal area. Guests are welcome to join us in activities such as monitoring the beach in front of the Chalets for turtle tracks and nesting sites, or helping to clear nearby hiking trails.
We love sharing the hidden treasures of Seychelles and the rich folklore of Anse Forbans, passed down to us by our grandparents. Whether you need help booking island excursions, organizing tours, or hiring a car, we’re here to assist every step of the way.
