Two young nature lovers, passionate about the stunning Plaiul Foii area, turned their dream into reality in 2024. Not only did they create the luxurious retreat RE: PLAI, but one of them also built a home for his family here, embracing the beauty and tranquility of the mountains.

RE: PLAI is located in Plaiul Foii, Zarnești, Brasov, a breathtaking area surrounded by the stunning Piatra Craiului Mountains. This secluded yet easily accessible destination offers spectacular panoramic views, pure mountain air, and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for those seeking relaxation or adventure. Perfect for a couple escale or a 3 families having fun. Nature lovers can enjoy numerous hiking and biking trails, ranging from easy walks through dense forests to challenging mountain routes. The area is also ideal for fishing, mushroom and berry picking, or simply unwinding by the Bârsa River, which flows near the accommodations. Wildlife enthusiasts may spot deer, foxes, or even the occasional bear in their natural habitat. Nearby attractions include Bran Castle (20 min), Râșnov Fortress (20 min), and the famous Zărnești Bear Sanctuary. There are a lot of additional activities like horseback riding, sleigh rides, or even enduro and motocross are available. Several restaurants nearby offer everything from traditional Romanian dishes to fine dining experiences. Access is easy, even without a car: only 40 minutes by train from Brasov to Zarnesti, followed by a 10-minute taxi ride (approx. 15 lei).
