The story of Esplanada House dates back to the 18th century when the old centre of Constanta was one of the most sought-after destinations in Romania, especially by Romanian artists, intellectuals, philosophers and writers such as Camil Petrescu and Mihai Eminescu. Esplanada House itself was the childhood home of the renowned Romanian writer Cella Serghi. She spent her childhood years in this house before moving to Bucharest with her parents at the outbreak of the First World War. However, the memories of her childhood years spent at the seaside and of growing up in the house at No. 3 Mării Street, currently known as Krikor Zambaccian Street, have greatly influenced her work. The Space The house is formed of two levels : basement and ground floor and includes 2 bedrooms with double beds and one with twin beds. Each bedroom is provided with a bathroom and the living room as well. The living room also has a expandable sofa. In the backyard you will find a beautiful pavilion and also a barbeque spot.
