Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Featuring a privileged view of the mountains and the sea, the resort offers direct access to the beach, a beach bar, a swimming pool and a restaurant. The comfortable villas have a mix of modern and exotic influences. All villas are air-conditioned and feature a full kitchenette, living room, balcony and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. All the accommodations are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a safe and free WiFi. The Santa Barbara restaurant offers a menu of genuine flavors, achieved through the freshness of local and seasonal ingredients. The Areais beach club offers guests the opportunity of enjoying a drink while at the exclusive guests' area. At the resort, guests can enjoy experiences like hiking, whale watching, diving or fishing, to the adrenaline of using a surfboard for the first time - or simply contemplating the greens and blues that are unique. The hotel offers various options for guests wishing to take a relaxing break. It is possible to rent bicycles and cars and the area is popular for surfing and bodyboarding. The property is 2 km from Ribeira Grande city centre and 15 km from João Paulo II Airport.
