Just steps away from the Alvor Beach, the Pestana D. João II Beach & Golf Resort offers 3 swimming pools and calm, green gardens. Apart from a buffet restaurant, the Pestana Dom João II offers Portuguese and international meals in the Pavilhão do Rei restaurant. Snacks and cocktails are available in each of the 3 bars, 2 of them seasonal. The guest rooms are modern in style and offer satellite TV and a minibar. After a good night’s rest, guests can enjoy the 2 saltwater outdoor pools or warm up in the heated indoor pool (26º). The Pestana D. João II Beach & Golf Resort also offers various activities including golfing, diving , bowling and special children’s games. For a good work-out, guests can use the gymnasium. It takes a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the centre of Alvor with many cafés and restaurants. The biggest town of the western Algarve, Portimão is 7 km away.
