Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. With 55 rooms and 6 suites, all with plenty of natural light and panoramic views. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WIFI. Bathrooms include a free-standing tub as well as free toiletries. The on-site restaurant offers panoramic views of the natural surroundings and serves regional gastronomy. Guests may relax at the on-site bar and the lounge area. Using schist and glass views of the surrounding landscape, Octant Douro features 2 swimming pools, 2 conference rooms, a Spa with a hydrotherapy circuit and a gym. Octant Douro is set in the southern margin of the Douro River, km 41 of the N222 road. It is 10 km from the centre of Castelo de Paiva, 40 km from Porto, 60 km from Porto International Airport and 160 km from the Spanish border.
