Alegria Residence is a 4 floors redesigned 60’s building, without elevator. All the apartments were carefully redesigned as it was our home and are equipped with practically everything you need for your stay.

I'm Carolina, a mother of two lovely children and three cats. In 2018, my husband and I started a short-term rental business with our own fully renovated 1960s building in downtown Porto. Since then, we’ve carefully selected a few additional units to manage, always staying true to our values and our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality in Porto

The building is located in the Bolhão neighbourhood, Porto's main and oldest fresh food market. It's really close Santa Catarina Street, the biggest shopping street of Porto and 5-minute walking distance from Porto's Aliados Avenue, Rivoli Theatre and Sá da Bandeira Street. It's a 10-minute walk to Clérigos Tower, Lello Bookstore, Leões Square and Cedofeita Street (another remarkable shopping street). If you feel like walking 15-20 minutes you can walk to the oldest part of town, right beside the Douro River, at the Ribeira, for stunning views of our 15th century buildings and a ride in the Funicular dos Guindais for an astonishing view over Douro river and Luiz I bridge.
