The Blue Beetroot

John and Barbara first opened the Blue Beetroot in 2005. We came from England and could see that there were many English speaking people coming to Boleslawiec to shop for Polish Pottery and we could see that there was a need to provide a cosy secure environment for people to stay in. That is what we set out to achieve and we think we have succeeded in that aim. Many of our guests have come to stay with us time after time and have become our friends. As we were getting older we closed for a while at the end of 2023 but we have now reopened, we have scaled things down a bit and no longer have the restaurant and bar but we provide a hearty breakfast and we have information on where to eat in the area and things to do (as well as shopping for Polish Pottery) So we are here and we are ready to welcome guests old and New!

it is a truly unique and old place- used to be a barn. Now it is a charming , small bed & breakfast hotel. Very friendly, always go above and beyond to meet your requirements and wishes. We can arrange assistance for pottery shopping, organizing tours and activities for inividual guests, families with children and groups. We tie up with Jarek and his More4U operation who specializes in these services. Check it out!

Boleslawiec is famous of its pottery (being made here since 12 C.). We provide full information on the potteries in the town and the nearest neighborhood. We also provide information on the local sights for individuals, groups and especially families with children. We can also help in arranging the tours. We can also provide a professional guide upon request (subject to availability).
