GUEST INFORMATION
All reserved guests must contact Matinloc Island Resort in advance to arrange van and boat schedule before arrival. Please provide complete arrival details through the email or contact number indicated. The resort does not have standby boats at the pier or shuttle services at the airport for guests without prior arrangements.
RATE INCLUSIONS
• Special dinner buffet between December 24 and January 5 stay.
• Boat transfer upon arrival and departure
• Van transfer from /to El Nido Lio Airport on check-in /out dates
• Breakfast starting the next day of your stay (breakfast upon arrival is available at PHP 1,650 per person)
• Use of resort’s facilities (library, infinity pool, gym, etc)
• Use of snorkeling equipment and kayak at the resort
EXTRA PERSON CHARGES
• Adult (11 years old & above): PHP 6,500/night
• Child (7–10 years old): PHP 5,500/night
• Child (1–6 years old): Free if within the room’s maximum occupancy (no breakfast included)
Extra beds or baby cots are available upon request. If maximum occupancy is exceeded, an additional room will be required.
ECO-TOURISM DEVELOPMENT FEE
All visitors to El Nido must pay PHP 400/person, valid for 10 days, to support environmental projects. This can be settled in cash at check-in or check-out (additional fees apply for card payments).
TRANSPORTATION
Matinloc Resort can be reached via El Nido Lio Airport or Puerto Princesa Airport
• From El Nido Airport: Free van transfer provided on arrival and departure dates. Guests will be met at the airport and assisted to the boat pick-up point at El Nido town proper. (15min travel)
• From Puerto Princesa Airport: Private van transfer is available starting at PHP 8,000 per way (5–6 hours travel). Please contact us for reservation.
BOAT TRANSFER SCHEDULE
Free boat transfer is available only on check-in/check-out dates.
• El Nido Town → Matinloc Resort: 8:00 AM / 11:30 AM / 2:30 PM / 5:00 PM
• Matinloc Resort → El Nido Town: 5:30 AM / 9:30 AM / 1:00 PM
Private boats: PHP 9,500/way (max 10 guests)
Shared town visit: PHP 1,000/person roundtrip (subject to availability)
No boat transfers are available before 5:30 AM or after 5:00 PM due to Coast Guard regulations. Travel times: 30 minutes speedboat transfer. Boat schedules may change or be canceled due to weather conditions. Please use waterproof bags to protect belongings, as items may get wet during the trip.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT Time
• Check-in: 3:00 PM
• Check-out: 12:00 NN
Guests may enjoy resort amenities while waiting for their room.
Requirements: Booking confirmation, valid IDs/passports for all guests, PHP 500 cash deposit per key cards (refundable).
DINING
La Playa Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (7:00 AM–10:00 PM). Complimentary breakfast is provided; lunch and dinner are available à la carte. The resort does not sell alcoholic beverages guests may bring their own.
ACTIVITIES
Complimentary activities include snorkeling, kayaking, using infinity pool, gym, karaoke, and indoor games. Sea-based activities and tours must be booked at least one day in advance. All tours are weather-dependent.
RESTRICTIONS
• No drone flying for guest privacy and safety
• No taking of shells or corals (penalties apply)
• Only Matinloc Resort boats and affiliates may dock at the resort
CANCELLATION POLICY
Non-refundable bookings cannot be changed or canceled. No refunds for no-shows, shortened stays, or inability to travel on the check-in date.
FORCE MAJEURE
The resort is not liable for delays or cancellations due to weather, government mandates, or other conditions beyond its control. Missed flights, unused rooms, or forfeited stays will not be refunded. Guests unable to travel to El Nido Town on check-out due to such events may be offered up to 50% off the published rate for the extended stay.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
