Nestled on the mountain side in Paea (PK 18.6 – west coast), this peaceful bungalow offers a view of the lagoon, a natural spring on the property, and a white sand beach just 200 metres away. A lush, tranquil and family-friendly setting for a rejuvenating stay, blending Polynesian authenticity with modern comfort. The bungalow is not air-conditioned, but it benefits from natural ventilation and is equipped with two ceiling fans to keep things cool. As we live in a natural environment, you might occasionally be visited by some uninvited – yet harmless – guests: curious geckos, a few tropical insects or the odd mosquito. Nothing to worry about – it’s just the local wildlife saying hello 🦎😉

We’re Marie-Ange and Marco. We arrived in French Polynesia back in 2001 and instantly fell in love with the fenua and its warm, welcoming people. For over 20 years, we’ve been living in this peaceful, family-friendly neighbourhood in Paea, nestled between the mountains and the lagoon. We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood just 200 metres from the beach and lagoon. Shops and restaurants are close by, and the stunning Vaiava public beach – one of Tahiti’s most beautiful white sand beaches – is just 600 metres away. The nearby Arahurahu marae, a significant cultural site, is also well worth a visit.
