But while she wove her first aguayo and learned to herd alpacas, Cidelia also dreamed. She dreamed of building a bridge between her world and the world of curious travelers — a place where visitors wouldn’t just take photos, but would truly feel the spirit of the Andes. For years, she worked tirelessly. She faced prejudice, economic obstacles, and skeptical looks from those who doubted a woman could lead her own project. But she never gave up. With the strength of her ancestors and the vision of a new generation, she founded Sky Dome Peru — an experience that blends the ancestral with the modern: glass domes beneath the stars, hikes with alpacas, Andean picnics, and personalized tours led by locals.
