Featuring panoramic city views and a artisanal fire place along the bar, Picaflor Tambo offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast in the heart of lively Ollantaytambo Inca village. Templo del Sol archeological site is a 15-minute walk and the main square is a 3-minute walk away.
The six rooms in Picaflor Tambo feature wooden beams and are decorated with local craftsmanship. They have private modern bathrooms with hot shower, and carved balconies overlooking the historic valley and the ruins of Pinkuylluna Mountain.
American breakfast with local ingredients is served daily which includes scrambled eggs, fresh fruit juice, bread, olives, fruits, coffee, milk, infusions and there is a tour desk that can assist with tourism information. Guests can enjoy a drink with a view to the Inca ruins from the central patio.
The main bus station is a 5-minute walk away, whereas the train station to Macchu Picchu is 5 minutes away by car.
