Waterfront Bliss

Matt and I both work in the medical profession, and Matt does some part time work as an Avalanche forecasting for the Nelson lakes Backcountry users. We have both traveled extensively and love skiing, climbing, hiking , mountain biking and water sports. We love meeting travelers and been able to offer a little bit of our paradise to them

I feel so privileged to live in Nelson in such an amazing location right across the road from the Cut and opposite the ionic Boat Shed Cafe. Our home is contemporary, full of art, has huge views and is sun filled. We live above the studio at the opposite side of the house. Your Private Studio is on the first floor. It has its own private entrance and a lock box key for easy access. You enter the Studio through the double glass doors off your large private balcony with sea views. The Studio has stunning sea views, has a Queen bed, 2 comfortable arm chairs, a small buffet bench to sit at, and a small kitchette with microwave, kettle and a Bar fridge . Off the bedroom is your own private bathroom with sea views that we have recently renovated. The décor is clean, white and crisp with a comfortable and relaxed beach feel. The windows are tinted and double glazed and the room very private . Waking up in bed over looking the water is a treat. On the deck, it is a great place to eat breakfast or enjoy an evening wine. There is a small outside table with chairs, and some comfortable couches to sit on and watch the magnificent boats come in.

We live opposite the ionic Boat Shed Cafe and across from Harbour Lights , fabulous Thai with a Twist and the Styx Eatery if you are wanting a more relaxed meal , a beer and just a basket of Curly Fries or fish. The best thing of all is been able to grab a fantastic coffee and go to award winning eateries without getting in the car. The Sprig in Fern at the beach has great craft beer and cider and is with in an easy walk along the promenade from home. There is great swimming to be had along the way if you enjoy the sea. Even just to watch the sunset from your private deck with a wine is such a treat
