Manci and Kunal want visitors to be able to relax while exploring the area of Waitomo and the greater Waikato
Our village is very small
But very welcoming
So please dont expect discos or nightclubs
What we in Waitomo offer is wonderful local countryside, Bush walks,Caves Caves and did I mention the Caves and many chances to grab the photos of real New Zealand
住宿信息
Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge is situated on a hillside just as you come in to Waitomo Caves Village. The guest lodge is surrounded by gardens with numerous shrubs, trees and flowers. These attract lots of bird life, including native birds, tuis, bellbirds, fantails, swallows, kingfishers and native pigeons, among others, visiting the garden at different times of the year.
Because the guest lodge is on a hillside there are lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The buildings face towards the Waitomo river valley with native forest on the slopes behind.
There is a drive up to the garage where you can load/unload your luggage. Off-street parking is available in the parking area at the bottom of the drive.
Next door to Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge is the Waitomo General Store, with an all day cafe. Across the road is the award-winning Huhu Cafe. If you stroll just a hundred metres along the path, there is the Waitomo i-SITE Visitor and Discovery Centre, which used to be called the Museum of Caves. Then walk around the corner and you'll find Tomo Bar & Eatery, the local pub. The Waitomo Glowworm Caves is a 500m walk away
