Waikawa house is a lovely modern house with a big section, ideal for couples or families on a quite and private section. Enjoy the peaceful rural surrondings and beautiful native bird song. The house is fully equipped with all the amenities needed. The kitchen is fully equipped as well as laundry facilities. The TV has free view as well as a DVD player, a selection of DVD's are provided. There is also a good selection of board games and cards, and some toys for younger children. The house is heated by two heat pumps, the bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. There is also a port-a-cot with linen avaliable in the master bedroom. Come and stay in a our modern, warm and comfortable house. There is no Wifi at the house, rural internet is expensive!

Waikawa house is in the middle of the southern Catlins "hot spots", less than 10 minutes drive from Curio Bay, and less than 5 minutes walk from the estuay. Swim with the dolphins, watch the penguins come in to their nests in the evening and walk along a beautiful beach and enjoy any more local walks, water falls and local attractions. Located at the end of the driveway is the local Museum and information centre, well worth aa visit.
