The Nook is a self contained apartment attached to my cabin. It has a fantastic tiled bathroom with a bath and rain shower with mountain and river views. There is a small kitchenette which does not have an oven or hotplates, however there is a large microwave and electric fry pan, and weather dependant a BBQ available. The Nook was built in August 2017 The entire studio is heated with underfloor heating to keep it toasty warm all year round.

I am based in Arthurs Pass but travel frequently with my work as a Landscape designer. I try to be there when guests arrive but can't always manage it. I am always only a phone call away if you have any questions or problems.

Arthurs Pass is a narrow valley with the main Pass between the East and West Coast. During the day the road is very busy, but at night it is quiet apart from trains which brake the silence from time to time. It is best to bring all the supplys you need with you as there is limited groceries available, however there are 2 cafes and an evening restaurant that serve meals till 8pm.
