The Cottage has 2 studio units that are lavishly appointed to the highest level of design. Welcome to The Mayflower Cottage. My name is Dianne and I am a born and bred Southlander, living all my life in Invercargill. It has been an absolute pleasure completing and bringing The Mayflower Cottage to the accommodation market in beautiful Te Anau and sharing this with you. The Cottage was designed by myself, named after my late mother, and built by my son. We have strong family links to Te Anau and I would describe it as 'a piece of paradise', Having spent many family holidays here as a child, it is my most favourite place in the world. I work as an Architectural Designer and I have done many plans for new homes in the Te Anau area. I have a passion for horses, racing and breeding pacers in the harness racing industry. I live with my partner Don on the outskirts of Invercargill on a small lifestyle block where we enjoy the country lifestyle, horses in the paddock, our berry garden to care for, and sharing life with our children and grandchildren. I hope you enjoy exploring our piece of paradise, its breathtaking scenery and many adventures, and leave with some wonderful memories!
