We are Matt and Tracy Day who hail from New Zealand - Tracy from Napier and Matt from Auckland - and have spent many years travelling and living overseas. We've enjoyed a variety of accommodation options from ostentatious to simple, while living on a super yacht on the water, when travelling within the vast and many cities around the world, and when based in Dubai, the Middle East, skiing in the French Alps and walking the summer trails up the Austrian Alps. We know what it takes to enjoy a space away from home and we offer simple luxury set amongst a tranquil environment with access to fine food, wine, bike trails, arts & cultural events, international concerts and golden sandy beaches only a short drive away. We now have two active teenagers, who keep us on our toes, and four years ago purchased St Andrews Limes, a local lime and lemon juice business creating artisan food and refreshingly cool beverages from this zesty, citrus fruit. We look forward to sharing this unique property with you, where we have enjoyed creating a warm, cosy environment for our guests to enjoy.

Sublime Nooks is the perfect semi-rural retreat nestled in Hawkes Bay, one of New Zealand's warmest, driest regions looking up towards the magnificent Triple Peaks - Te Mata Peak, Mt Kahuranaki and Mt Erin. The Nooks are only two minutes drive from Havelock North village and five minutes from Hastings, yet you will feel delightfully removed from it all. Think warm, sunny, modern luxury with comfortable Scandinavian furnishings throughout. Each Nook sleeps four people which makes it a perfect escape for families, couples and small groups. There are two bedrooms and the Master bedrooms, in each, features a king size bed. In the second bedrooms, the queen and king size bed can be split into two king single beds upon request. Each Nook has its own kitchen, bathroom with tiled under floor heating, open plan living area and a sun drenched deck for relaxing and enjoying the breath-taking, private views of the triple peaks.

The Hawkes Bay boasts internationally renowned vineyards, orchards and farms which provide a picturesque backdrop and ample to do while you are here. The outstanding weather has made Hawke's Bay one of the country’s leading producers of wine. The region is the first stop on the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail, and it's a popular place for bicycle wine tours. Encompassing Napier, New Zealand's Art Deco centre, which was rebuilt in the 1930’s after a huge earthquake, to explore fine restaurants and boutique shopping in the beautiful Art Deco buildings. In Hastings is the Hawkes Bay Farmers Market where you can shop for locally grown delicacies, indulge in artisan gourmet food, and then head up the trails to enjoy the incredible scenery at Te Mata Peak. Wherever you go you can indulge in world class cuisine, take a walk to visit the Cape Kidnappers gannet colony and / or relax with a picnic lunch on the glorious beaches that stretch along the coast. When strolling through Havelock North it will feel like a small village in the south of France or Italy and has been awarded one of the most beautiful suburbs in New Zealand - idyllic and worthy of your time.
