After travelling extensively, Mick and Karen, originally from the North of England, settled in New Zealand to marry and raise their 2 children. They took over Nikau Lodge in November 2020, located in what they consider a very special place, where the mountains meet the sea.... Kaikoura.​ They enjoy meeting guests and exchanging travel stories over breakfast. They, (and Jazz the dog) look forward to welcoming you to Nikau Lodge.
