McDougall Cottage was an original Wanaka homestead, which has now been transformed into a stunning cottage. McDougall boasts high ceilings, an amazing recycled timber floor and lovely period features. The architraves and paneling are fabulous and the striking master bathroom and kitchen will delight you. McDougall cottage has 3 bedrooms, that each have ensuite access into the 2 lovely bathrooms. The master bedroom also has a large walk through wardrobe The kitchen and open plan living are very classical in style. Heavy farmhouse dining furniture and comfortable sofas will help you relax and enjoy this cottage. The gorgeous kitchen boasts all the modern amenities you require, making catering a delight. A wonderful log fire warms the cottage, and additional heaters are available for your comfort. The beautiful wrap around verandah leads out to an outdoor courtyard and BBQ area, perfect to enjoy the lovely Wanaka summers.

McDougall cottage is only one block from the lakefront and an easy, flat 5-10 minute stroll to the village centre. This lovely cottage is also conveniently located immediately adjacent to our other delightful properties, Dragonfly cottage, Pembroke Lodge and Villa and the Apartments on Upton.
