Lake Haven is situated right on the lake edge of Lake Rotorua in Hamurana. The house is a kiwi classic 1970's Lockwood bach with a warm log cabin interior. It is a comfy and clean place to relax with everything you need for a lovely stay. Lake Haven is very private, surrounded with trees with a lovely relaxed feeling and amazing lake view from the lounge, kitchen, master bedroom and queen bedroom. The large deck with the outdoor fire and BBQ is a wonderful place to feel the embrace of the beauty, enjoy a glass of wine and toast some marshmallows. A great place for families and couples. The lake is shallow for a long way so is great for the children. Life jackets of many sizes are provided along with four kayaks,including a double, to enjoy being on the lake. A small sandy beach is also at the bottom of the lawn. Prepare to relax on the lake edge with this beautiful view. A very peaceful and restful location. Only a 10 minute drive to Ngongotaha with a supermarket, cafes, takeaways, Post shop, Doctors surgery and antiques. It is another 5-10 minutes into the city and most tourist activities.

Lake Haven is a great place to stay and enjoy or to use as a base for exploring all that Rotorua has to offer. Day trips are easily made to Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Whakatane, Ohope, Hamilton (Hobbiton) and Taupo. Rotorua is world famous for mountain biking, rafting, fishing and has a host of other activities for all ages, interests and abilities.
