The private Apartment has a wrap around deck with one of the best views of the lake and mountains in Wanaka. You will be the the only guests here at any time as we have only one guest accommodation facility. It is set in trees on an elevated site with a ‘KING of the CASTLE’ view of countryside, mountains and Lake Wanaka. N.Z. Native Birds abound and birdsong fills the air. Kauri Apartment backs onto a Scenic Reserve which is MT Iron. Mt Iron has a wonderful and very popular walking track which affords sweeping views of the region. Your hosts, Noelene and Bill Pullar, will be pleased to share their local knowledge of the area with you, and can guide you to local points of interest such as the activities and restaurants, fishing spots, and the many magnificent walks along the riversides and Lake Wanaka. The 2 acre property is situated on Mount Iron.

Wanaka has a picturesque small town centre with boutique shops and a large selection of restaurants and cafes along the lakefront. The local walks are spectacular with mountain and lake views, making Wanaka one of NZ's gems to visit, both for locals and overseas visitors. There is a selection of indoor attractions including a famous Puzzling World which is an innovative local business with a wooden maze and we have a famous Transport and War Museum.
