The town of Paihia is situated in The Bay of Islands, a subtropical micro-region known for its stunning beauty and history. For those who love beaches and water activities, it's paradise!
A 3 hour drive or 35 minute flight north of Auckland, the Bay of Islands comprises 144 islands between
Cape Brett and the Purerua Peninsula and includes the boutique towns of Opua, Paihia, Russell and
KeriKeri.
Paihia is a great place from which to explore all the Bay of Islands.
The self-contained accommodation with separate bedroom and open plan lounge/dining room/kitchenette is situated on the ground level with parking in private peaceful surroundings with a spa with sea view.
The property named "Hyview" is a short drive or walk to Paihia township and to the beach. Waitangi Golf course and the historic Waitangi Treaty grounds are also close by.

undertook in their youth.
Bob has enjoyed many sports over the years, particularly Rugby and Triathlon.
Since moving to Paihia we enjoy showcasing the Bay of Islands!
There are two museums at Waitangi - Te Rau Aroha Museum commemorates the commitment and sacrifice of Maori in the NZ Armed Forces and Te Kongahu Museum of Waitangi presents the events leading up to, during, and after the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. The Whare Waka cafe is
situated within the Treaty grounds.
At historic Russell (just across the water from Paihia) we have the Pompallier Mission and Printery.
There is a wide array of restaurants to choose from in Paihia and Russell.
