Hot Water Beach is just a 10 minute drive.
With over 16 acres of award-winning grounds there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy this slice of the Coromandel Coast. The Resort is a walking distance to Hahei Village with a general store, craft brewery, galleries and cafés a short stroll or simply enjoy an Allpress coffee here onsite. Hahei Beach is located on the Coromandel Peninsula on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Hahei Beach Resort is situated directly on the beautiful half-kilometre beach, with no roads to cross, just pathways through the dunes.
Hahei Village is less than a 10 minute walk and has a general store, petrol pump, shops, galleries, tennis courts, mirco-brewery, cafés and restaurant.
Cathedral Cove is about a 1 hour walk starting from Hahei Beach. This breathtaking beach is one of New Zealand's top attractions with surf patrols in summer. Stop off at Stingray Bay and Gemstone Bay for a picnic & great snorkelling. There are kayak and boat tours launching off the beach in front of the Resort so book the tours with the locals when you get here and see Cathedral Cove and the pristine waters of the Te Whanganui A Hei Marine Reserve from a whole new perspective.
There are lots of stunning walkways and beaches nearby. Hot Water Beach is a 10 minute drive, there are spades available at reception where you can check the tide times. This is a great year round adventure for all!
