Lesmahagow is a magnificent villa built by Peter McSkimming in 1914 and lovingly restored to its former glory. Sitting on 6,000m2 of private landscaped gardens, the property provides the perfect setting to escape from the world. Not only can you experience a piece of NZ history but the home now boasts many modern conveniences such as central heating, a commercial kitchen, WIFI, unlimited cafe quality coffee but also a fresh water hot pool to relax in after a big day exploring the Clutha area
Previously used as a premium wedding venue, Lesmagahow features an assortment of picturesque back drops to relax in or explore. Alternatively you may prefer to soak in the NZ made fresh water hot pool and stare up at the stars after a long day exploring the Caitlins. For younger families the property also has plenty to offer, including a trampoline, children's fort, tree hut and plenty of toys. There is also a small public children's playground nextdoor and the historic Mc Skimmings kiln and brickworks is just down the road
